The IDET International Defense and Security Technologies Fair is an important defense and security technology show in Central Europe with strong international participation of exhibitors and trade visitors and therefore Indian Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic must be present at such venue. The event took place 29.5.-31.5.2019. It is designed as a pro-export platform for the Czech defense and security industry. It is held with the support and participation of the most important political and military representatives of the Czech Republic and neighboring countries from Central Europe. The largest exhibitor is the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic and the Army of the Czech Republic. The fair will be visited by international military delegations and delegations of foreign defense ministries for armament from 20 countries around the world. Ministry of Defense of Slovakia was also having large stand including Slovak Companies like Zepelin (Nixxus 2) military tents.
The biggest "Show makers" were traditionally Czechoslovak Group (CSG), Omnipol and MESIT whom INDCHAM seeks partnership. The largest Indian state manufacturer of defense BEML was also present and we exchanged progress on deal between CSM (Producer of UDS) and BEML which is organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
